WE ARE:

· A community-based partnership between public/private agencies, businesses, faith based community, local government, and

citizens who serve as part of the decision-making body for improving results for children and families

· A formal process of collaboration (partnership)

· An independent non-profit with 501(c)(3) status

· Affiliated with a statewide network of 159 community partners and a national organization that helps kids stay in school and

achieve in life

· A process not a program

WHAT DOES A COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP DO?

· Develops, implements, and evaluates a community strategic plan

· Makes decisions about what results are desired

· Sets priorities to achieve results

· Allocates resources

· Holds itself accountable for the well-being of children and families in the community
